Friday Sep 24, 2021
Friday Sep 24, 2021
It’s been a tough season: there’s a lot of pain and grief around! We tend to avoid grief, and leave those who are grieving alone. But the Bible makes a lot of space for grief and lament - in fact Jesus shows us how to grieve well. So, how can we learn to step into grief to create Kingdom health in ourselves and others?
We recommended the excellent book Invitation to Solitude and Silence by Ruth Hayley Barton.

Friday Aug 06, 2021
Friday Aug 06, 2021
Samson was used by God – God’s Spirit came on him in mighty ways! But Samson was also more than a little chequered of a character… in fact, he was downright awful at times. Join us as we explore the role of suffering in Samson’s life as God tries to use Samson, but also reach and restore him to the Father. (This episode is an old recording, so the class noted was a couple of years ago - sorry!)
