Gender seems to be a divisive topic in the Church these days. We get a chance to interview one of our regulars, Molly Inman, about a topic shes extremely passionate about Justice, Gender, and Formation. Join Richard and Amber as they put Molly in the hot seat, asking her the tough questions regarding the church, culture, equality, the MeToo movement, and more.
The main Scripture we referred to was 1 Corinthians 12, about the church as a body.
Molly recommended this article on the Me Too movement
We also talked about the following books:
Neither Complementarian nor Egalitarian, by Michelle Lee-Barnewall
Paul and Gender by Cynthia Westfall
Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof
Other Formation Books
Spirit of the Disciplines by Dallas Willard
Strengthening the Soul of Your Leadership by Ruth Haley Barton
Sacred Pathways by Ruth Haley Barton
Domestic Monastery by Ronald Rolheiser
Practice of the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence
